In-Network Insurance

Portland Psychological Services is in‑network with the following insurance companies.

If you have a different insurance, you can receive a receipt (sometimes called a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance to use your out‑of‑network benefits.

Fees & Insurance

Fees for psychotherapy are $275 for the first appointment and $175 for regular 45‑minute appointments. When using in‑network insurance, the contracted rates may be slightly lower and can be reviewed with you upon request.

When using in‑network insurance, claims will be submitted to your insurance for you.
When using out‑of‑network insurance, you can send your insurance a specific type of receipt called a “superbill” that can provide to you upon request—it includes all the information insurance companies typically need to reimburse you (e.g., dates of service, billing codes, etc.).
Some people don’t have insurance or choose not to use it, and they simply pay for services.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of service for psychotherapy appointments and prior to evaluations.

FSA and HSA cards may be accepted for some fees.

Keeping a credit card stored on file is required. Card payments are accepted for the first and regular appointments with an additional $5 convenience fee, which can be avoided by paying at the time of service with cash, check, or (sent through your bank’s app to info@PortlandPS.com).
